WHAT IS BLACK SOAP?

ABOUT

It's soap, but not as you know it!

Used in Morocco for centuries, Black Soap is made from mascerated olives and olive oil.

It's also known as Savon Noir in French and Beldi Soap in Moroccan Arabic.

It has a pleasant, paste-like consistency and a naturally subtle, earthy fragrance. Other essential oils can be added to provide more fragrance, as we've done with Marrok Black Soap - Eucalyptus.

Black Soap is the cornerstone of a traditional Hammam body scrub experience.

Its natural ingredients leave your skin clean and moisturised.

Left on the skin for a few extra minutes in a steamy environment, it draws out impurities and bonds with dead skin cells to make it easier to exfoliate away dry skin.

No more scrubbing yourself red raw!

INGREDIENTS

Black Soap is made of:

. Mascerated organic olives,

. Organic olive oil

. Water

. Potassium Hydroxide (which forms it into the past form)

BENEFITS

. Antioxidants draw out impurities and detoxify skin

DAILY CLEANSING

DAILY CLEANSING:

. Take a small dollop of Black Soap and lather between your hands.

. Apply all over body and wash as you would with any soap or body wash.

. Rinse thoroughly.

Black Soap leaves a clean, fresh feeling without drying your skin!

BODY SCRUB

Black Soap has exfoliating superpowers when combined with the Marrok Mitt.

. Steam up the bathroom with a hot shower or bath.

. Take a small dollop of Black Soap and lather in your hands, then apply all over the body.

. Let the soap sit on your skin for 5min or more. This time and steam allows the soap to deeply cleanse and also lift dead cells from the skin's surface.

. Rinse the soap off.

. Take a dampened Marrok Mitt and scrub in firm circular movements all over. Pay special attention to drier areas such as knees, elbows and ankles.

. You may see dead skin coming off as you scrub.

. Rinse thoroughly.

The Black Soap and Marrok Mitt combination exfoliates your skin to leave you feeling fresher and smoother than ever.

OTHER WAYS TO USE

Steam Facial Cleanser: Moroccan Black Soap can be used as part of a steam facial treatment to deeply cleanse and open pores. Apply a thin
layer of the soap on your face, then lean over a bowl of hot water with a towel
over your head to steam your face. This helps to soften the skin and prepare it
for exfoliation.

Shaving: Its creamy texture makes Black Soap an excellent substitute for shaving cream. It provides a smooth, lubricating base that can help prevent razor burn and keep skin hydrated during shaving.

Foot Soak: Add Black Soap to warm water for a soothing foot soak. It can help to soften rough skin on the feet, making it
easier to exfoliate away dead skin and calluses.

Makeup Brush Cleaner: Its natural and gentle properties make Black Soap perfect for cleaning makeup brushes. The oils in the soap help break down makeup residue, while its natural ingredients are
gentle on the brush bristles.
