About Argan Oil

Moroccan Argan Oil, often referred to as "liquid gold", is a highly valued oil for its nutritional, cosmetic, and medicinal properties.

Extracted from the kernels of the Argan tree (Argania Spinosa), which is native to Morocco, this oil has been used for centuries by the local Berber women for skin and body care.

Extraction Process: The traditional method of extracting Argan oil involves drying Argan fruit in the open air, removing the nuts, cracking them to reveal the kernels, and then pressing these kernels to extract the oil. This process is labor-intensive and time-consuming, which contributes to the oil's value.

Cold-Pressing: For cosmetic-grade Argan oil, the kernels are cold-pressed. This method ensures that the oil retains its nutritional and cosmetic properties without the use of heat or chemicals.

Rich in Nutrients: Argan oil is high in fatty acids, predominantly oleic and linoleic acids, making it nourishing and moisturising.

Vitamin E: It's also a rich source of Vitamin E, which is known for its antioxidant properties, helping to protect the skin from damage by free radicals.

Anti-Aging: The antioxidants and nourishing components in Argan oil make it popular for anti-aging treatments. It helps in reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Skin Health: It's often used to hydrate and soften the skin, making it a popular cosmetic choice for moisturising lotions and as a treatment for conditions like acne, eczema, and rosacea.

Hair Care: Argan oil is also used in hair care products for its ability to add shine, smooth strands, help with frizz and damage repair.

Nail Care: The oil can strengthen nails and soften cuticles when applied regularly.
