Our Packaging Promise

We love a little luxury, but we love the environment more, so the way we post your Marrok purchase comes with eco-responsibility as our priority.

Just as we prefer our products to be free of anything unnecessary, and prefer our skin and body care routines to be simple, we also prefer to minimise unnecessary packaging.

So, while we may not be the prettiest unpackaging moment, we stand by our ethics with:

 Boxes, paper bags, cards, and paper made from recycled materials

·       Boxes, paper bags, cards and paper which is recyclable – please put the packaging in the appropriate paper recycling bins

·       Our thank you cards feature images of Moroccan zellige tiles – stylish enough to frame or pin to your vision board to inspire that trip to Morocco

·       Paper tape and labels, which are compostable – if you can compost these, please do so

·       Reusable cotton bags – great for storing your Marrok products, taking Marrok travelling with you, or for lots of other purposes!

As we grow, we’re committed to looking at product packaging that is more easily recyclable or reusable.

Some tips for reusing your Black Soap tubs and Argan Oil bottles we’ve already discovered:

·       The labels from tubs and pump bottles easily peel off

·       If you need to remove any remaining stickiness try running a little Argan Oil or Tea Tree Oil to remove

·       Give tubs and bottles a good wash with hot water and detergent to remove any traces of soap or oil

Black Soap tubs make handy storage for bits and bobs:

·       Bathroom - hair ties, bobby pins, hair clips, reusable makeup remover pads

·       Workspace - Paper clips, pins, clips, keys

 

Argan Oil bottles can be reused:

·       With the pump – filled with your favourite hand sanitiser

·       Without the pump and lid as mini vases – a single flower, greenery or spray of small buds

 

Notes:
