Description
Traditional Moroccan soap for cleansing, softening and smoothing the skin, and preparing skin for exfoliation. This variant has the fresh, clean aroma of added natural eucalyptus oil.
Marrok's Moroccan Black Soap Eucalyptus is the foundation of the hammam ritual: a rich, natural cleansing paste designed to leave skin feeling clean, soft and hydrated without the harshness of many conventional body scrubs or soaps.
This variant includes added natural Eucalyptus oil, giving your shower ritual a refreshing, spa-like scent while keeping the same simple, effective, black soap base.
Use it on its own as a deeply cleansing soap paste, or pair it with the Marrok Mitt for the hammam-inspired exfoliation routine. Not every shower needs to be a scrub. Some days, your skin just needs a gentle, effective cleanse.
Made in Morocco from organic olives and with added natural Eucalyptus oil, this paste-like soap helps soften the skin in the warmth and steam of your shower. Deeply cleansing and moisturising, it does not strip or dry the skin. It works well for those who prefer a simple, natural body cleanser with no unnecessary ingredients, and for anyone who enjoys a fresher, more invigorating shower ritual.
For returning customers, this is your essential black soap refill with the added freshness of Eucalyptus.

How To Use
How To Use
Black Soap as a daily wash:
Take a small amount of Black Soap and lather between wet hands. Massage over damp skin in the shower or bath, then leave on for a few moments before rinsing thoroughly.
Use daily or as needed as a deeply cleansing soap paste.
Avoid the eye area.
As a Body Scrub routine:
Use Moroccan Black Soap with the Marrok Mitt for a traditional hammam-inspired exfoliation ritual at home.
Step 1: Warm the skin
Begin in a warm shower. Allow the shower space to steam up and wet skin with warm water.
Step 2: Apply Black Soap
Take a small amount of Moroccan Black Soap and lather between wet hands.
Massage over damp skin, applying all over the body. Black Soap is low-lather,
so it’s normal not to have a lot of suds. Leave on skin for around 5 minutes to
help soften and prepare the skin.
Step 3: Rinse
Rinse the Black Soap thoroughly from the body before exfoliating.
Step 4: Exfoliate with the Marrok Mitt
Wet the Marrok Mitt and squeeze out excess water. Using firm strokes, buff the skin to lift away dry, dull skin and reveal smoother-feeling skin. You may see small rolls of dead skin on the mitt.
Use with care
Do not use the Marrok Mitt on broken skin, irritated skin or freshly shaved
skin. Adjust pressure to suit your skin.
How Often To Use
How Often To Use
Moroccan Black Soap can be used as a daily wash. It can be used on the body and face (avoiding eyes).
As a body exfoliation routine with the Marrok Mitt, we suggest using weekly or fortnightly, depending on your skin.
Scent & Texture
Scent & Texture
Black Soap has a rich, paste-like texture that lathers when worked with water.
While it's known as 'Black Soap, the colour is a naturally earthy brownish green, reflecting the olives it's made from.
When mixed with water, the paste can become a little slippery - like most soaps! Lather first between hands and then apply to your body. You'll get familiar with it very quickly.
The Original variant carries the scent of the organic olives from which the soap is made. Earthy but subtle, the scent does not linger on the skin after rinsing.
The Eucalyptus variant has a distinct yet subtle scent of eucalyptus, adding a fresh, clean note to the ritual without overpowering the senses.
FAQs
FAQs
Is Black Soap safe for sensitive skin? Many of our customers have found Black Soap suits their sensitive skin. We suggest testing a small patch before use.
Will the Mitt be harsh?
You control the pressure. Start gently and increase only if comfortable.
Can I use it before fake tan?
Yes, it can be used before tanning to help smooth the skin. Use at least the day before tanning and follow your tan product’s instructions.
Can I use it while I have fake tan on? The Black Soap alone can lift fake tan from skin. We suggest avoiding the use of Black Soap and avoiding exfoliation until you are ready to remove the fake tan - it's an excellent fake tan remover!
Can I use it after shaving?
Avoid using the mitt on freshly shaved skin. Exfoliate before shaving, or wait until skin feels calm.
Can I use the mitt on my face? The mitt is primarily for the body. You can use the mitt on the face, but we highly recommend testing a small area first and always being very careful. Do not apply the same pressure to your face as you do to your body.
How do clean and store the mitt?
Rinse thoroughly, use a normal machine wash cycle and hang to dry between uses. Do not tumble dry.

Our Argan Oil has only one ingredient – pure, cold-pressed oil from the nuts of the Argan Tree. For variants such as Eucalyptus, pure cold-pressed organic Eucalyptus oil is added.
The olive oil, argan oil and additional essential oil ingredients are all EU certified organic and are also pesticide free.
Our supplier in Morocco has EU certification for the products we distribute.
Are your products suitable for all skin types?
Yes, our products are suitable for all skin types.
Whether you have dry, oily, or sensitive skin, our formulations are carefully crafted to provide effective and gentle care.
However, we always recommend doing a patch test before using any new product, especially if you have sensitive skin or known allergies.
Is your packaging recyclable?
We’re always looking to make our products and packaging more sustainable and responsible, so it’s an ongoing journey for us.
At the moment, our products are packaged in recyclable plastic. That means the plastic can be recycled, but as we all know, what our local waste and recycling collecting rules are can make it difficult to get various plastics to the right recycling channels.
We’re just starting out so this is our base point – we’re committed to doing more in this area, so please stick with us.
All the materials we use to get your order to you safely are either recyclable, made from recycled or compostable materials or are made for you to use in other ways. Even our mailing labels are compostable and thermal printed.
What’s special about Moroccan Black Soap?
Moroccan black soap, also known as Savon Noir, Beldi Soap or pure olive oil soap, works due to its unique formulation and natural ingredients.
This soap has been an integral part of Moroccan beauty rituals for centuries and is still used today by Moroccan women and men.
The olive oil, drawn from crushed olives, deeply cleanses and detoxifies the skin without stripping it of natural oils. It leaves the skin feeling smooth, soft and hydrated.
Regular use can also benefit skin texture and help reduce the appearance of dark spots and blemishes.
The natural detoxifying properties help eliminate impurities and toxins, giving your skin a fresh and radiant look.
Black Soap is used in the legendary hammams of Morocco – both the local community hammams and the modern spa salons – as part of the ageless bathing experience.
The Black Soap prepares your skin to be exfoliated. It helps to lift dead skin and bind it so the scrub mitt works more effectively. Less red raw skin, more smooth glowing skin!
What if I don’t see any dead skin coming off when I scrub?
You may or may not see physical evidence of dead skin as your scrub with the Marrok Mitt. However, it’s still working to remove dry, old skin to reveal a smoother you.
You may not see the dead skin if:
You use the scrub mitt on a regular basis
You use other exfoliants or scrub products
You use other scrub mitts, exfoliation towels or face cloths
Your skin will still feel fresh and smooth even if you can’t ‘see’ the dead skin coming off.
